Bespoke hardwood beds
What is the most important piece of furniture in your house??? Your bed of course! As well as the mattress, pillows and manchester, it is so important to love your bed frame as it is what you will own the longest and is the foundation piece for the styling. And even more importantly you are hopefully at least spending 8 hours a night in your bed which is a whole lot more time than you spend at your dining table, watching TV or gazing at your beloved Bombora buffet so it is even more important that it is perfect! Here are four of our favorite designs...
The Lorne Point bed is one of our original designs. It has a simple silhouette, chunky timber and a picture frame headboard. This one was built from featured Messmate with sap-lines and recycled features filled with epoxy resin. It has that timeless style that is adaptable to a range of different aesthetics.
The Hunters bookcase bed was a design concept brought to us by a client which Luke recreated to add that Bombora touch! It is has a modern low profile, storage space underneath to display items or books, a picture frame headboard and flat hardwood slats. This piece is also constructed from recycled Messmate however it has much less featured timber.
This design is part of our Zeally Bay collection. The Zeally Bay Timber Bed has a contemporary twist on our more classic yet modern designs. Made out of American Cherry Wood timber leaves the design feeling light with a pinkish tone. The integrated metal structure makes the bed nice and sturdy while being completely hidden under a timber board that supports the mattress.
Last but not least is the Bluemoon Oregon bed. With its light beachy tones, this is the perfect addition to any modern coastal home! Designed to be ultra low, the frame has clean lines that lets the beautiful rippling grain lines of the timber shine through. The bed head is has a slight angle making it perfect for a little late night reading or in my case pintrest-ing!
As all of our furniture is made to order, you can of course totally customize every aspect of the design from the dimensions, the timber to the style of the frame itself. Each piece is constructed from recycled Australian hardwood including the slats.
