Black and timber cabinetry is repeated throughout this South Melbourne Home to create a beautiful continuity of design through the spaces.
The owners of this beautiful house in Melbourne created a consistency of design throughout their home through the repetition of Messmate timber and black furniture pieces. This luxe industrial style is unique but also timeless for the ultimate in longevity.
Matte black metal and timber dining table
A custom-made dining table based on our Southside design featured angled black metal legs that feed into wood. The Messmate timber of this beautiful table features black sap lines that tie in with the matte black metal of the legs. The legs are designed at the perfect angle so they sit right out into the corners of the top to maximise the seating space.
Wooden vanities
Beautiful Messmate timber was chosen by the clients for the Tathra timber vanities throughout their South Melbourne home. The black saplines in the Messmate timber are enhanced by the black of the shadowlines and the basin. The white stone tops create an easy-to-clean top as well as tying in the basin. The saplines of the Messmate flow across the fronts of the wooden vanities creating movement and intrigue that is only possible with real timber.

With an open-plan living space in this South Melbourne home, the entertainment unit joinery flows into some clever pantry storage turning kitchen cabinetry into furniture. The Messmate timber used to create this wooden cabinetry features black saplines that flow across the entire piece.

The timber living room joinery brings together the kitchen, dining and living room spaces. The large wooden TV unit created a plethora of storage space with drawers as well as wall-hung timber shelving units. The saplines of the Messmate timber flows across the wooden joinery creating movement that is only possible with real timber.
