Clean with Osmo Spray Cleaner
For regular cleaning, use Osmo Spray Cleaner with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
This is the only cleaner we recommend for Bombora’s Osmo finished timber vanities. Many general bathroom and household cleaning products are too harsh and can gradually strip away the protective finish, leaving the timber more exposed to stains and water damage.
Avoid abrasive cloths or scrubbing pads, as these can damage both the timber surface and its finish.
Wipe away bathroom products promptly
Your timber vanity is designed for everyday bathroom use, but it's still important not to leave liquids or beauty product spills sitting on the surface for extended periods.
Water splashes from daily use aren't generally a concern when wiped away as part of your normal routine. However, spills from products such as hand soap, moisturisers, facial oils, makeup, toothpaste and skincare products can gradually affect the protective finish if they're left on the timber.
Some skincare products, cleansers and exfoliants also contain acids or active ingredients that may stain or damage the finish if left in contact with the surface.
If a product spills, simply wipe it away promptly with a soft cloth. Taking a few moments to clean up spills will help keep your timber vanity looking beautiful for years to come.
Keep bottles raised from the timber
Avoid leaving liquid hand soap, moisturiser, oils or other bathroom products sitting directly on the timber vanity.
