Custom Timber Mirrors

  • Timeless wooden mirrors, handcrafted for your home

  • A mirror does more than reflect a room. It helps define it. The warmth of natural timber brings texture, character and balance to a space, transforming a practical piece into something that feels considered and lasting.

Every Bombora timber framed mirror is handcrafted to order in our Torquay workshop using sustainably sourced Australian hardwood.

Available in round and rounded rectangle designs, each mirror can be customised in size and your choice of seven timber species, allowing you to create a piece that perfectly complements your bathroom or feels equally at home in an entry, bedroom or living space.

Our custom timber mirror design process

Every Bombora timber mirror is handcrafted with the same care and attention to detail as the furniture we build. From carefully selecting each piece of Australian hardwood to the precision of the joinery and the final hand-finished surface, every step is completed in our Torquay workshop with quality and longevity in mind.

Each mirror is finished with Osmo Polyx Oil, a durable, hard-wearing finish that enhances the natural beauty of the timber while helping to protect it from the moisture and humidity found in bathrooms. The result is a mirror that's designed not only to look beautiful today, but to be enjoyed as part of your home for many years to come.

Every Bombora timber mirror is supplied with a French cleat hanging system, providing a strong, secure and level installation. One half of the cleat is fixed to the back of the mirror, while the matching cleat is secured to the wall before the mirror simply slots into place.

For a safe installation, the wall cleat must be fixed into structural framing, such as wall studs or noggins. It should not be attached to plasterboard alone. If suitable framing is not available where the mirror is to be positioned, we recommend speaking with your builder or installer before installation. If you have any questions, we're always happy to provide guidance.
