American Oak Timber Furniture

American Oak timber is a newly harvested from the Quercus Alba or White Oak tree that is native to Northern America. This stunning tree can reach 25-30m in height when mature with a large spreading canopy.

American Oak timber furniture is a light blonde colour with an ash tone that is very similar to the appearance of European Oak.  It is a durable timber that is very beautiful making it perfect for furniture making.  

The grains of American Oak timber are mostly straight with a medium to coarse texture. The waves and grain pattern are completely unique and not found in any other type of timber. The timber is subtle yet interesting.
