Our timber doors are crafted from 40mm thick solid Australian hardwood, offering a satisfying weight and reassuring durability. A breadboard feature is built into every design to ensure structural integrity by preventing warping.

We offer a curated range of Australian hardwoods to suit different design preferences:

Blackbutt – Pale in colour with minimal markings, perfect for a clean, modern aesthetic
Messmate – Warm tones with natural sap lines and characterful grain patterns
Recycled Messmate – Rich, varied tones with visible recycled features that add a sense of history and uniqueness

Exposure suitability

Our timber front doors are best suited to entryways that are well-protected from direct sun and rain. While durable, solid timber is a natural material that can move or weather when exposed to the elements and UV light

The finish

Our timber front doors are supplied without a finish applied as it can be damaged during transport and the hanging process.

You can use your preferred timber sealer on the door. We recommend Osmo UV Protection Oil, a non-toxic finish that helps prevent greying and allows the timber to move naturally with changes in temperature and humidity, preserving its beauty for years to come.

Timber

This solid timber door is crafted from 40mm thick timber. The timber options are select grade Blackbutt, Messmate and recycled Messmate.

Finish

Our doors are supplied without finish as it gets damaged in the handing process. We recommend the Osmo UV protect finish to protect the timber once it has been installed.

Design

The dune design features 3mm wide rebates between the sticks of timber both vertically and horizontally. This creates the appearance of a shiplap door whilst still being solid.
